Tons of Lemonade, Sun
and Summertime Fun!

New ‘Summertime Fun!’ DVD

Featuring Favorite Friends – Barney™, Bob the Builder™,

Thomas the Tank Engine™, Angelina Ballerina™ and Fireman Sam™

Arrives in Stores May 13, 2008 from Twentieth

Century Fox Home Entertainment and HIT Entertainment

Los Angeles/New York (April 8, 2008) – Time to enjoy the summer and have fun with Barney™, Bob the Builder™, Angelina Ballerina™, Thomas the Tank Engine™ and Fireman Sam™!  All are back for another collection of light-hearted, summer-y adventures in Summertime Fun!, debuting on DVD May 13, 2008 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and HIT Entertainment for a suggested retail price of $14.98.

Grab your sunscreen, lemonade and camping gear, and kick back for five summer adventures on Summertime Fun!:

  • NEW TO DVD: Barney – In “The Wind and the Sun,” it’s a beautiful, warm summer day.  Baby Bop has built a lemonade stand to quench the thirsts of the playground children and BJ has made a kite to fly high in the air.  Both need an ideal location for their activities.  Problem is, there is only one truly perfect spot!  It’s not long before both learn to ask nicely to share the space equally and enjoy the day together.
  • Bob the Builder – In “Dizzy Goes Camping,” Wendy is on vacation, leaving Bob and the crew to build Farmer Pickles’ new campsite on their own.  Wanting a vacation of her own, Dizzy asks Bob if she and Muck can camp out overnight.  Singing songs by the pretend campfire and sleeping under a makeshift tent, the pair spends a wonderful evening under the stars.
  • NEW TO DVD: Thomas & Friends – In “Thomas and the Rainbow,” a summer storm has knocked down telephone lines throughout the Island of Sodor.  Tasked with carrying the repairmen to the sites, Thomas gets distracted by a beautiful rainbow in the sky and sets out on his own, determined to find the fabled magic treasure at the end of it. When his one-track-mindedness lands him in trouble he learns the valuable lesson that the true magic lies with his friends.
  • Angelina Ballerina – In “Angelina in the Wings,” famed Madame Zee Zee is coming to watch Angelina’s ballet class in the hopes of finding a replacement Sunbeam dancer to fill in for a sick performer.  Angelina has to bring her cousin Henry to the audition.  When Henry captures the adoration of the Madame and is given the role, Angelina is forced to become his understudy.  Despite her jealousy, she soon realizes how much the show means to Henry and sets out to help him succeed.
  • Fireman Sam – In “Twitchers in Trouble,” extremely dry grass covering the countryside has elevated the fire danger.  When a dropped glass bottle ignites a brush fire, it’s up to Sam, Tom and the rest of the team to rescue the various townsfolk out enjoying the day.

This DVD includes a bonus episode of Fifi and the Flowertots: Picture Perfect.

 Join Everyone’s Favorite Purple Dinosaur

and His Newest Friend Riff in the All-New DVD

‘Barney:  Hi! I’M Riff!’

Los Angeles/New York (April 8, 2008) – Nothing beats being part of a club with your best friends!  Barney and his friends sure know the feeling and invite children everywhere to join in on the fun in Hi! I’m Riff!, the latest title featuring everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur, available on DVD May 6, 2008 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and HIT Entertainment.

Barney’s new friend Riff is the first new dino to join Barney & Friends™ in 13 years.  He is a six-year-old Hadrosaur and a one-of-a-kind kid!  Riff is BJ and Baby Bop’s cousin, and he is all about music – music is in his voice, his heart and his every move!  Riff also loves hanging out with his friends.  Reveling in the time he spends with his pals, Riff decides to start a new club and invites everyone to join.  It’s going to take lots of ideas – and some fun singing and dancing – to decide what kind of club is right for everyone.

Hi! I’m Riff! Synopsis:
Should Riff start a Bird-Watching Club?  He did have lots of fun watching new ducklings hatch (“Do What the Duckies Do”).  Or should it be a Baseball Club like the one his pal BJ suggested?  Even though the sport is not his forte, he still has fun playing with everyone (“Best Friends is What We’ll Be”).  What about Baby Bop’s idea of a Dancing Club?  After all, no one can resist doing the “Baby Bop Hop” or the electrifying energy of the Kenyan performance troupe that comes to dance up a storm on a visit to the playground.

Considering Barney’s Imagination Club (“Hey, Look at Me, I Can Fly!”) and his own enthusiastic interest in inventing music (“You Can Make Music With Anything”), Riff ultimately forms The Best Friends Club, where everyone can do all these different things and more, and most importantly, do them together and have a Dino-mite time!

·        “Dodger the Milk truck” – Bob and the team are under the clock to finish Meg’s new house so they can give her milk truck, Dodger, a proper reception before he arrives.  Problem is, she’s mixed up the days and Dodger shows up not only to no greeting party but no townsfolk anywhere!  Sadly, he carries out his duty of delivering the milk.  When everyone realizes what’s happened, they work together to greet Dodger and welcome him enthusiastically to the team.
·        “The Three Musketrucks” – A big new shipment is arriving at the docks.  Inspired by the famous motto “All for one, and one for all,” Scrambler, Packer and Dodger become the Three Musketrucks and vow to deliver the goods.  Despite a mix-up caused by a hasty decision and a brief ride trapped aboard a ferryboat, the trio proudly and successfully completes its mission.
·        “Dodger’s Dairy Disaster” – Bob and the team are building Sunflower Valley’s new creamery so Meg and Piper can make a variety of cheeses using local flavors.  Dodger, sent to pick up the ingredients, is feeling pressure to be liked as much as fan-favorite Packer.  He decides to use his funny horn sounds to make people laugh during his deliveries, but in his haste to win them over he accidentally mixes everything together.  All’s well though when Meg uses the new blend to make a delicious tasting cheese everyone loves.
·        “Scrambler the Goat Herder” – Everyone is off to Snowcap Mountain to turn an old barn into a new weaving studio for Meg.  Bob asks Scrambler to play herder and lead Giddy the goat down from the peak to the shearing station so Meg can use his wool in her loom.  It’s no easy task but eventually Scrambler figures out exactly how to get his goat!
·        “Packer’s Big Delivery” – Sunflower Valley is getting its first General Store!  While Bob and the crew get to building it, store owner Barbara sends Packer and Scrambler out to retrieve the wares, including seaweed, sunflower oil and pineapples.  When Meg calls down from Flowery Ridge asking for her goat’s milk to be picked up, Packer insists he can make it up to her despite the treacherously paved mountain road.  It’s not long before Packer gets stuck and it’s Bob and Scrambler to the rescue!
